Sales Manager (m/f/d)
Your mission that drives sustainability in logistics
As our Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in expanding our footprint with a focus on the Italian market and driving success across various industries. You’ll concentrate on acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives that directly impact our growth:
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Italian market, aligning with company objectives.
- Identify and engage potential clients across diverse sectors, optimizing train capacity utilization and driving business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Design tailored solutions to meet client needs, prepare competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage cross-departmental project coordination.
- Generate monthly sales reports, analyze data for strategic decision-making, and provide customer insights to influence product development.
- Represent the company at client meetings, partnerships, exhibitions, and industry events, both in Italy and internationally.
Your Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring customers and achieving revenue goals in competitive markets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%) within Italy and Europe.
- Based in Central or Southern Italy, with the ability to work remotely and occasionally visit the office in Verona and client sites.
